Wii U power debate: Nintendo machine definitely has MORE POWER than puny PS3 and Xbox 360

In an interview with Game Informer, Jeremiah Slaczka – the boss of Scribblenauts developer 5th Cell – has been utterly unequivocal in his appraisal of whether Nintendo’s Wii U is more or less powerful compared to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. “It’s definitely more powerful than Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3,” he said.

This absolute technical assessment from Slaczka – whose company 5th Cell is making Scribblenauts Unlimited for Wii U – is the latest contribution to the ongoing debate surrounding Wii U and how much power it is and if it’s the right sort of power and other things like that involving power.

Just last week another developer said Wii U had lower processing speed than PS3 and 360. Everyone knows lower speed means weaker which means not as much power. Not good. Unsurprisingly a man that works for Microsoft also sort of said Wii U graphics wouldn’t have enough power going forward. Equally unsurprisingly Nintendo said something along the lines of “Wii U’s graphics are going to have enough power so everyone just chill the eff out.”

If you want more examples of people saying stuff about ‘Wii U power this’ and ‘Wii U power that’, go to the internet and fill your boots. There’s loads of it.

Of course, as GamesRadar readers you are incredibly informed and already know the power debate is a sideshow and power has absolutely nothing to do with Wii U’s most exciting potentialities.
