Zumba Fitness reign of terror in UK charts is over, as are its chances of a record run at number one

Deus Ex: Human Revolution has ended Zumba Fitness’ insanely long stay at the top of the UK all-formats chart. One week before Zumba would have equaled the 11-week record held by FIFA: Road to the World Cup from 1998 as the most consecutive weeks atop the UK charts. But that’s not the only statistic of note. Hey – we know the main reason you get up every morning is in the hope some statistics of note come along, so you’re definitely going to love this.

According to Chart-Track, in the two days it had on sale before the charts were compiled, Deus Ex: Human Revolution sold a mere 26,000 copies shy of previous title Deus Ex: Invisible War’s entire lifetime sales. We’re pretty sure that counts as a success (and we’d like to think our straight 10/10 review helped convince gamers to take the plunge on this amazing game).

Above: We’re not saying the dude on the right is Zumba Fitness. But that is Deus Ex
