X-Men: Apocalypse continues to add more mutants to its growing ensemble, with Bryan Singer confirming that Lucas Till will reappear as Havok in the forthcoming sequel.
Havok played a key role back in X-Men: First Class, only to be largely sidelined in follow-up Days Of Future Past. Singer hasn’t revealed just how much he’ll have to do this time out, although with so many characters jostling for screen-time, we wouldn’t bank on it being a major part.
Olivia Munn signed on to play Psylocke last week, while newcomers Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Ben Hardy, Lana Condor, Kodi Smit-McPhee and Oscar Isaac have also been added to the mix. Factor in the return of Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult and Rose Byrne, and Singer has one hell of a plate-spinning job on his hands…
Directed by Singer from a script co-written with Simon Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris, X-Men: Apocalypse will open in the UK on 19 May 2016 and the US on 27 May 2016.
