Something Borrowed review

Ginnifer Goodwin’s helpless romantic is in love with her chiselled former study buddy Colin Egglesfield, but he’s just about to tie the knot with her best friend, Kate Hudson. What to do?

In the world of Something Borrowed, the hypocrisy comes thick and fast as Goodwin jumps into bed with her dreamboat, whilst simultaneously chastising him for living a lie.

The film’s too busy piling on one-liners – delivered ably by Hudson and comic co-star John Krasinski – to layer any real depth to the awkward triangle, so it’s a long slog to an inevitable climax.

Prepare to leave feeling something blue.
