Huth movement: these Premier League players just got worse in FIFA 17 Ultimate Team

GR+ recently revealed the list of Premier League players (opens in new tab) who received winter upgrades in FIFA 17 (opens in new tab) Ultimate Team – but it’s not good news for everyone.

A select few have received an especially distinctive ‘reward’, being downgraded for their abject performances (or missing games through injury) this campaign.

Inevitably, Manchester City keeper Claudio Bravo is the most high profile downgrade. His overall rating drops from 85 to 83 following a disastrous season borrowing Joe Hart’s slip-ons.

Palace custodian Steve Mandanda also drops attributes through loss of form and injury, from 85 to 84. And Swansea netminder Gerhard Tremmel suffers the greatest indignity of all, his fall from 75 to 71 turning his Ultimate Team card from gold to silver.

Four outfield players suffer that same fate and will no longer be available in gold form: Stoke’s Stephen Ireland (now 74), Hull’s Evandro (74), Sunderland skipper John O’Shea (74), and Palace winger Bakary Sako (72).

Here’s the full list of players hamstrung by the new ratings, including both of Leicester’s title-winning centre backs:

FIFA 17 is out now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
