Here are the details on The Walking Deads two new characters for season 8 – a lone wolf and a sarcastic survivor

AMC is currently on the lookout for actors who can fill two new “good guy” roles in The Walking Dead season 8 (opens in new tab). According to TV Line (opens in new tab), they are “Dillon, a sexy, blue-collar twentysomething whose survival skills include sarcasm,” and “Abbud, an innately likable Muslim American whose nerves are, let’s say, jangled, because he’s flown solo for too long in zombieland.”

It sounds like Abbud may not make it past season 8, as only Dillon’s casting notice mentions the possibility of being picked up for future seasons. So all that being said, I’m going to go out on a limb here:

I wager that Abbud will come across as selfish or at least interested only in his own survival, and will wax poetic about how he lost his life in the zombocalypse. Rick and Cuhhoarl and the gang teach him to be part of a family again, and he makes the ultimate sacrifice to save them. Dillon will take his shirt off at least once and still manage to have a mouth-watering physique despite this being a world where food (and gyms) are incredibly scarce.

Any takers wanna bet otherwise?

Looking forward to the “terrifying” season 8 (opens in new tab) premiere? We’re still scratching our heads over season 7 (opens in new tab) ourselves.
