The film’s being directed by Derek Cianfrance, who spent years preparing his devastatingly affecting relationship drama Blue Valentine .
Gosling worked on that film as well, and it’s no surprise he’s keen to re-team with Cianfrance – Valentine contains one of the actor’s most accomplished screen performances.
Next up for Cooper is the role of Lucifer in Alex Proyas’ Paradise Lost , while he’s also tangoing with the idea of heading up the remake of The Crow.
