Sadly, rather than provide insight into Boateng’s creative process, director Varon Bonicos is dazzled by the globetrotting, celeb-schmoozing lifestyle.
And he’s too close to his subject to really probe Boateng’s ego, even in the face of marital woes and some amusing Zoolander -esque mishaps behind the catwalk. Nice suits, mind.
