Discount for combined tickets to this Wednesday’s Award evening and Write The Future event for SFX readers!
For the first time ever, members of the public are able to attend the prestigious Arthur C Clarke Award ceremony! And we’d love SFX readers to be among them.
On Wednesday 1 May at the Royal Society in London, the winner of this year’s Arthur C Clarke Award will be announced. And you could be there! Tickets to the Award, which starts at 6:30pm, are just £20.00 + booking fee and are available now, the first time in the Award’s 26-year history that everyone has had the chance to attend.
The Award follows a day of panels and presentations at the new Write The Future event, also held at the Royal Society (Carlton House Terrace, London SW1Y 5AG), and if you fancy coming along to that as well, you’re in luck: SFX readers are invited to get a discounted price on a combined ticket, just £55 + booking fee for the whole thing (usually £70!). Use the promo code SFXFUTURE to book. Tickets are limited so don’t hang about.

SFX is the Arthur C Clarke Award ‘s media partner and we’re thrilled that our readers are eligible to get tickets. The day itself looks set to be a fascinating event and if you’re there you’ll also see our editor-in-chief Dave Bradley hosting a panel with authors and scientists – ” 2001 Days Later: Living In The Future ” – before the Award is announced . After the ceremony there is a drinks reception too, where you’ll meet authors, members of the SF community, folk from the Royal Society and editors from the SFX team.
