Womp womp. Yes, Destiny 2 is having a few issues right now, and not everyone is able to lock and load. What is error code: CABBAGE?

Bungie hasn’t specified what exactly causes this error, but it seems to affect users with Technicolor brand modems most (if not exclusively).

Unfortunately, there is no known workaround at this time. Several users report success from resetting the modem or console, or utilizing port forwarding, but only temporarily. Bungie is updating this thread (opens in new tab) with updates as they become available.

What is error code: ce-34878-0?

Specifically, this error impacts users playing on the PS4 Pro. Put simply, it’s a system crash.

How to fix error code: ce-34878-0

Sony suggests you quit out of the game, make sure the latest system and game updates are installed, then restart the console. If that doesn’t work, it’s suggested that you back up your save data, then format the PS4 by going to Settings, Initialization, and selecting the Initialize PS4 option (just to be clear, this will wipe all the data off your PS4). If all else fails, contact PlayStation Support (opens in new tab).

What is error code: NIGHTINGALE

This code appears when the game cannot access the proper save files, and is tied to a corrupted cache.

How to fix error code: NIGHTINGALE

Exit Destiny 2 and power down your console. Unplug it (yes, it’s a hassle – do it anyway) and wait for the power to cycle. This can take anywhere from 30 seconds to five minutes. Maybe grab a sandwich while you wait. After giving it some time, plug your console back in, power up, and restart the game. If that doesn’t work, you may want to try completely uninstalling and reinstalling Destiny 2 entirely.

Remember, Guardians: not every threat is Cabal, Fallen, Hive, or Vex-shaped. Some of the most insidious foes are hiding out in your network’s code.
